Skilled Nursing Facilities
Long Island Wellness Associates (LIWA) provides supportive counseling to individuals struggling with mental health and substance use disorders, and their families. LIWA understands the unique challenges that chemically addicted patients face during physical rehabilitation. Our program is custom designed to address the individual needs of patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities who also require mental health and substance abuse treatment. Our treatment approach is designed to help individuals learn to identify and correct problematic behaviors by applying a range of healthy coping skills. LIWA counselors are Masters level professionals in the field of Medical Social Work, Clinical Therapy, and Substance Abuse Counseling.
